No, you first
Some always put others before themselves. They want to help people, to make everybody happy and to never hurt anyone. It’s a beautiful quality, but it can also lead to self destruction.
It’s hard for those people to take care of themselves, because most of the time, they don’t realize that they’re hurt. They dismiss their feelings so cleverly that, in the end, the pain comes out in a completely different way. A way that’s impossible to recognize, and that they will dismiss again and again.
It’s terrible for them to finally wake up and realize they’ve got to work on themselves and be a bit selfish at least, because they think they have become a terrible person. What seems natural for everyone isn’t for them. But ackowledging their limits and their flaws will only help them achieve their goal: being a better human being.
